** please note: a small charge will be made for subsequent log supplies,

Limitations
Number
of occupants
The number of persons sleeping in the cottages is
strictly limited to the stated capacities, which form the basis of the
rental charges.
Thus, Little Tremaine Barn is
limited to 2 persons overnight. In the same way, Tremaine
Barn Roundhouse is limited to 4 persons.
Friends
are welcome, subject to reasonable limit, to visit Clients and enjoy meals
or barbecues at Tremaine Barn. In these cases,the Clients assume responsibility
for their guests, in respect of any damage or third party claim.
Small
children
No special
facilities for very young children are provided, such as cot, high chair,
special linen, etc...
Wheelchair-bound
clients
The single floor level in Little
Barn, and single level plus 3 shallow steps in the Roundhouse - together
with comparatively level access from outside - allow many less mobile
clients the freedom to enjoy their holidays. However, both Little Barn
and the Roundhouse are unsuitable for clients who are wheelchair bound
for all their movements. The internal doors are small (by design !), there
are no special baths or taps and there are no special handrails in bathrooms

Dogs
Whilst your dogs will normally be most welcome,

subject to The Owners discretion.

to our published rental prices.
Booking: conditions
Unless by special prior agreement, all bookings commence
at 3.30pm on the arrival day, and finish at 10am on the departure day.
The shortest period for which we accept bookings is 2 nights (low season
only), 3 nights (mid season only) and 7 nights (high season). The presence
of a money value in the "number of days" column in the prices
page, indicates availability of stays for that period length.
(exception: Easter - for the period including
both Good Friday & Easter Monday, only 7 day bookings are accepted.)
Booking: payment & confirmation
DEPOSITS
Application for the reservation of accommodation must be accompanied by
an advance deposit of one quarter of the total rental cost (rounded up
to the nearest £5).
Example - Booking at £295 per week
one quarter = £73.75p
rounded up = £75 deposit payable
The balance of the total rental cost must be paid in full 6 weeks before
the first day of the holiday. Failure to send the required balance amount
by the date due may be (at our discretion) regarded as cancellation of
the holiday by The Client and the advance deposit will not be refunded.

Booking:
payment & confirmation
BOOKINGS WITHIN 6 WEEKS
If bookings are made less than 6 weeks in advance of the first day of
the holiday, payment in full must accompany the booking form to reserve
the property. All bookings are
subject to written confirmation by the owners. If the application is not
accepted, the prospective client will be notified in writing (letter or
email, as appropriate) and the deposit will be refunded in full.
Cancellations
Cancellation by The Client.
The Client should notify The Owner in writing (or email),
as soon as the cancellation is found to be necessary. If The Owner is
then successful in re-letting The Clients previously booked holiday
property, The Owner will return the booking deposit to The Client, less
a £25 admin charge. If The Owner is unable to re-let the cancelled
property booking then The Client will be held responsible for the prompt
payment of the full cost of the holiday, (The Client may wish to separately
take out cancellation insurance, or may already have period holiday insurance.
If so, it may be in The Clients interest to check the scope of insurance
cover.
Cancellation by The Owners.
If for any reason beyond the owners control (e.g. fire
damage) the property is not ready on the date booked, all rent and charges
paid in advance will be refunded in full, unless an alternative date can
be arranged. The Owner will make every endeavour to offer an alternative
week/break at Tremaine Barn. The Client shall have no further claim against
The Owners.
Access to property
The two cottages of Tremaine Barn are available after
3.30pm on day of arrival. Accommodation is restricted to number of
persons stated on the booking form. Property to be vacated by 10am
on the day of departure, unless previously agreed with The Owners.
After receipt of the balance of the total rental, The Owners will send The
Clients detailed directions to Tremaine Barn, together with instructions
as to collection of keys. Our normal practice is to personally show our
clients around the properties, providing all the information that they might
require - and, of course, a good welcome !
The Owners may arrange for a third party to welcome and show The Clients
round the property, if they are absent.
Maintenance and
care
Clients must take all reasonable care of the property,
its furniture and effects, leaving the property in the same state of repair,
and tidy condition as on arrival.
All
breakages or damage must be notified to The Owners and paid for.
The Client is required to check the inventory on arrival and report any
discrepancies.
Maintenance
and care - dogs
Subject
to prior application by The Client, well behaved dogs are welcome in each
property.
The Owners accept no liability for any damage caused to, or by, a Clients
pet whilst staying at Tremaine Barn.
In accordance with
The Clients commitment to maintain the good condition of the property,
dogs must not be allowed to lie on the bedding or chairs, or be left unattended
in the property, or do other things that will cause unreasonable deterioration
of the property or its contents.Clients are requested to remove any animal
waste to a site agreed with The Owners.
Legal liability
The Owners do not accept liability for injury sustained
by any person or for the loss or damage to any property brought onto the
premises.
